After you sign-up, Next Step Living will contact you to schedule a time for your home energy assessment that is convenient for you. During the home energy assessment, your home energy advisor will install no-cost energy efficient light bulbs, programmable thermostats and water saving devices, to provide you with immediate savings. The advisor will identify actions that you can take to reduce your energy bills and make you more comfortable by keeping your home warmer during the winter and cooler during the summer. The Mass Save program provides no-cost air sealing and the instant insulation incentive is 75% off, up to $2,000 a year. Rebates and a 0% interest loan is also available for replacing inefficient refrigerators, windows, hot water and heating equipment.
