Arjun Rao
Chief Strategy Officer
Arjun has been with Next Step Living since its infancy and is heavily involved in all aspects of service delivery. He has primarily been focused on creating the scalable infrastructure required to provide our rapidly growing customer base with best-in-class service. His work has included the design and implementation of much of our customer relationship management processes and systems. In addition to the above responsibilities, he is currently leading the development of additional service offerings that will help our customers take further steps to improve their homes’ resource usage, safety, and overall sustainability.
Before joining Next Step Living, Arjun was a management consultant with Bain & Company, Inc. Throughout his tenure with Bain, Arjun worked on many different assignments, including growth strategy development and execution, operational efficiency plans and execution, market entries, merger integrations, and acquisition due diligences. He worked with clients in a variety of industries including large-scale residential construction, airplane manufacturing, dairy processing, small and big box retail, and consumer packaged goods.
Arjun received his degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and studied mathematics and economics at the London School of Economics.
